Military Heritage Collection of North Texas
The mission of the Military Heritage Collection is to collect and preserve artifacts related to the military history of the United States along with the stories of the men that used them.
The Military Heritage Collection of North Texas is a 501C3 nonprofit entity located in the South East corner of Collin County about 20 miles East of Dallas (Map and street address available on CONTACT page).
Entirely staffed and run by volunteers the goal of the museum is to create and maintain a friendly interactive "Hands On" environment where we share with our visitors the many stories associated with the exhibits.
The museum has an extensive collection of uniforms and equipment extending from WW1 to the current day.
Our collection of aviation and military art contains many original and unique pieces from noted aviation artists.
We maintain a fleet of operating military vehicles ranging from motorcycles to armor and our visitors often get to ride and interact with the vehicles.
Periodically we will organize events that allow our visitors to shoot some of the many weapons in the collection.
